black flies . by ben howard
when i discovered ben howard it was from that point on that i began watching him perform nearly every day on youtube. black flies is perfectly structured and he performs with perfection. his poetic lyrics compliment his acoustic song writing. i like how he builds up a song with drums tempo and dynamics, and occasionally an electric guitar. the arrangement with a cello and a drummer/guitarist works really well.
i imagine myself by a fire on a beach when i listen to this song.
