sometimes bon iver's music moves me in ways i didn't know i could be. his music doesn't make me think, it makes me appreciate and understand tone and memory. he shares a moment or an experience with us through his song writing.


i don't know exactly what this song is about but that doesn't really matter. the mindset in which he is in is what is interesting about it. i like how he has used numerous vocal layers and simple chord patterns. i haven't listened to this song in a while which makes it even more moving to hear.
