i was listening to bbc 2 on the way home tonight and a song was played by amy winehouse. stronger than me. i started to understand what i have been trying to write down in my music over the past week. she spoke about the thoughts behind the song and about her album, frank. young love never really does just, work. "i need him to live up to his role"
her background in music really comes through in her song writing, apparent jazz influences and strong lyrical content.
i think i should stop thinking too much about my lyrics and be more 'frank,' it could work.
looks like we all have "lessons to learn"
